About us
We believe a Christian should never cease to grow in knowledge and understanding. Teaching sound doctrine is necessary to being a well-grounded Christian. “So that we may no longer be children, tossed to and fro by the waves and carried about by every wind of doctrine, by human cunning, by craftiness in deceitful schemes.” (Ephesians 4:14).
We believe that church is a place where love must be seen. Christians should be devoted to one another in love. “A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. 35 By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another” (John 13-34-35). Also see Romans 12:10.
We believe that church is a place where we don’t judge others but where we examine our hearts in comparison to God’s commands. “9 Love must be sincere. 10 Be devoted to one another in love. Honor one another above yourselves.” (Romans 12:9a,10)
We believe that the church is meant to prepare and assist Christians in following The Great Commission. “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you.” Matthew 28:19-20b.
As a church we encourage parents to take ownership of raising their children in all truth and understanding. We find that keeping families together helps promote more unity and growth.
Our desire is that anyone that joins with us in fellowship feels welcomed into a church body that makes every effort to live out their faith with sincere love.
